Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and add support to sagging facial features. What's more, you'll be able to enjoy conversations and eat the foods you want confidently.

With the support of an entire orthodontic team, your SimplyClear provider will approve your treatment plan and deliver your custom clear aligners.
Wear your aligners as prescribed by your doctor. With each clear aligner step, your teeth will gradually move into the desired position.
Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt. They vary in shape and size from person to person, and some lucky people never get them. This third set of molars appears between puberty and early adulthood unless they are stuck in place. If your jaw is small, your third molars may be blocked by other teeth, your gums, the bone of your jaw or other pathologies. This is referred to as impacted wisdom teeth. Impacted wisdom teeth can become very painful.
There are several reasons your dentist or orthodontist may recommend you have your wisdom teeth removed. In many cases, it is a preventative procedure. If you are about to invest in braces or other teeth straightening services, allowing your wisdom teeth to grow in may cause more crowding and either interfere with or undo the orthodontic work you are investing in.
If you are an adult and your wisdom teeth came in properly, you may have trouble cleaning them. Because they are so far back in your jaw, it is difficult to get a toothbrush back there, especially if your toothbrush is large. This makes wisdom teeth prone to bacteria and decay. In some cases, adults with wisdom teeth experience problems with cheek biting.
Depending on your situation, we can remove wisdom teeth while you are awake or while you are asleep. We are happy to discuss your treatment options well in advance of the procedure so you know what to expect and can plan accordingly. We perform both types of wisdom teeth removal in our local dental and oral surgery office.
