Dr. Scott Newman

Dr. Scott Newman was born and raised in Utah. He earned his dental degree from the University of Louisville, where he met his wife, and then completed a three-year residency in periodontics at the University of Louisville, earning his master's degree. During residency, Dr. Newman excelled academically and clinically, gaining extensive experience in advanced periodontal and surgical procedures. Dr. Newman fell in love with periodontics because it allows him to save teeth, restore smiles, and build lasting relationships with his patients. He takes pride in providing minimally invasive treatments and offering IV sedation to ensure a comfortable experience. His expertise includes treating gum disease, covering gum recession, and performing complex dental surgeries — including dental implant placement, treating failing implants, sinus augmentation, bone grafts, and extractions. Patients appreciate his gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to making them feel at ease and informed every step of the way. Outside the office, Dr. Newman enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, traveling with his wife, and exploring new places.
