I’m very happy. Speech is coming along a lot quicker than I thought it would. I’m learning to talk with a full mouth of teeth again compared to where I was before. I couldn’t be more grateful for this new chance at, and outlook on, life. It really is a great thing, I really appreciate it, I really do.

Permanent Solutions for Missing Teeth

Unlike crowns, veneers, or conventional dentures, dental implants last a lifetime. Whether you're missing a single tooth or several teeth, suffering from periodontal disease, tooth rot, or upper or lower jaw problems, our dental implants can create the beautiful smile you crave.

When you are missing teeth, your jaw can shrink itself to compensate for the gaps. This causes your other teeth to shift and crowd each other. In addition to being uncomfortable, this jaw shrinkage can lead to premature aging. To prevent these issues, we can fill gaps with dental implants.

Types of Dental Implant Options

Dental implants are made of titanium alloy posts, zirconia or porcelain ceramic teeth, and other materials safe for the body. Once local anesthesia is administered, the implants are surgically connected to "abutment teeth," which are the surrounding teeth supporting the bridge or arch. As long as there is adequate bone and healthy gum tissue for this step, implant failure or rejection is rare. (If you have too little jawbone to secure an implant post, your dentist may recommend a bone graft as part of the process.)/p>

Implant supported dentures — sometimes called implant-retained dentures or snap-in dentures — feature added stabilization. They are held in place with two to six posts in the jawbone, but the dentures themselves are removable and require daily at-home cleanings.

The other option, “All on 4” or “All on 6” fixed dental implants, gets its name because the bridges are screwed in on top of either four or six implant posts on the jawbone. With this option, you don't have to remove the implant at night or worry about dentures falling loose when you speak or chew. At your annual dental cleaning, dentists can temporarily remove All on 4 or 6 implants to help clean beneath the bridge and replace the screws if necessary.

Say goodbye to embarrassment about that missing tooth! As an alternative to removable dentures, dental implants are a trusted solution for replacing missing teeth. Give the appearance of natural teeth with skillfully implanted replacement teeth. Enjoy complete support, confidence, and convenience with All on 4 or 6 dental implants.

Dental Implant FAQs

What does All-on-4 mean?

This treatment provides patients with a full-arch prosthesis anchored on four or six dental implants attached to bone. All on 4 or 6 is a permanent solution for missing teeth, and the prosthesis can only be removed by a dentist.

Who is a candidate for All-on-4?

Any patients who have tooth decay, broken teeth, gum disease, and other severe dental problems are considered excellent candidates for this procedure. The results will surprise you!

What is the Snap-In-Denture procedure like?

By using advanced technology — including our digital scanner and CBCT scans — we can carefully plan your surgery. This allows us to get you in and out of our office with a new smile with a minimally invasive technique and minimal post-op downtime. Patients have the opportunity to never be without teeth, and will have a confident beautiful smile throughout the entire process.

What is dental implant recovery like?

You may experience swelling and discomfort at the implant site. For the first 24 hours after dental surgery, stick to soft foods and avoid hot liquids and straws. You may be given painkillers, or you can take OTC ibuprofen or acetaminophen. A warm salt water rinse is also helpful. Pain will dissipate in a few days. In most cases, most patients are back to normal in just a few days. If you needed a bone graft as part of the procedure, recovery time will be longer, but since bone has no nerve endings, you will not have pain from this part of the process.

Do dental implants look like natural teeth?

Yes, when the procedure is completed, dental implants look like your own teeth. We can even color match the dental implants to your other teeth for a natural shade. No one will be able to tell the difference between your implants and regular teeth.

Do dental implants require maintenance?

After the healing process, brushing and flossing are still important! To take proper care of your implants, keep up with regular dental visits and oral hygiene. Professional cleanings and prosthesis maintenance are recommended at least once a year. During these appointments, your dentist can temporarily remove the implants for a more thorough cleaning.
